In 2012, Resonetics celebrated 25 years of business in the laser micromachining industry. Resonetics was founded in 1987 in Nasuha, NH to provide high precision, high quality laser micromachining.
“Resonetics has a long, well-respected history as an industry pioneer in laser micromachining,” said Tom Burns, Resonetics CEO. “We hope to spend the next 25 years continuing to discover and innovate to solve the life sciences industry’s most challenging micromachining problems.”
While historically Resonetics has worked in a range of industries including semiconductors and telecommunications, it has focused on the life sciences industry since 2004, and today it represents the vast majority of its business and 100-percent of its focus.
Resonetics offers the world’s largest capacity for laser micromachining polymers in ultra-violet wavelengths. After outgrowing its previous space, the company moved into a new 64,000 sq. ft. site in 2011 with a 6,000 sq. ft. Class 8 cleanroom and more than 50 laser workstations. With systems engineering and integration, the company designs and builds purpose-built workstations to address specific customer needs cost-effectively.
