Bioelectronics

Bioelectronics is a category of powered medical devices that are used to monitor or treat medical conditions. Examples include pacemakers to treat abnormal heart rhythms, cardiac monitors, and electrical stimulators for pain management.

Advancements in electronic technology have allowed bioelectronic devices to use less power and treat new conditions. Devices are also decreasing in size to be delivered during minimally invasive procedures and be implanted in new areas.

Resonetics designs and manufactures implantable batteries that are used to power bioelectronic devices, including standard batteries that can quickly be incorporated into a device and custom batteries that are designed for a specific application. We have a line of standard batteries that can easily incorporated into a device and also develop custom batteries to meet your exact specifications. We produce both primary single-use batteries and rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. Our expertise in micro manufacturing allows us to produce microscale batteries that can enable companies to develop the next generation of bioelectronics devices.
