Laser Processing

We are the leader in laser processing for complex medical devices, components, and implants. Our engineers have deep process knowledge, and we custom-build our own laser processing systems to provide the best manufacturing solution for each application. Our core laser processing capabilities include cutting, welding, drilling, ablation, and perforation. The process experts in our Lightspeed Lab can help you take advantage of these advanced technologies with industry-leading prototype solutions, design feedback, and manufacturing process development.

The process experts in our Lightspeed Lab can help you take advantage of these advanced technologies with industry-leading prototype solutions, design feedback, and manufacturing process development. When your design is ready for production, we have a standardized system to validate the process, the right experience, and the resources to scale as needed. With Resonetics’ laser processing capabilities and expertise, you can start producing revolutionary medical technologies where complex geometries and dimensions open doors for the next generation of devices and components.

Laser Ablating

We have developed proprietary processes that use highspeed lasers to selectively remove material from a substrate or 3D machine a component from a solid metal material. ASSURE Endpoint Detection verifies material removal during wire stripping, and MICRABLATE 3D Laser Machining produces micro-scale components and devices.

Laser Cutting

We laser cut complex medtech devices and components from metals and polymers with industry-leading speed and precision.

Laser Drilling

We laser drill microscale holes for medical needs like catheter and drug delivery systems to achieve minuscule flow rates.

Laser Welding

We use lasers to weld two metals together with low heat input and high precision to assemble the most complex micro-delivery system components.

Laser Perforation

We perform high-density laser perforation on sheets, films, or plates to make tiny holes that increase the breathability, wear time, and moisture vapor transmission rate while maintaining the strength of the material.
