Li-Ion Chemistry

Preferred for rechargeable cells, these offer the highest energy density and discharge rate among rechargeable batteries. Available in multiple configurations from under 3 mAh to 440 mAh. Used for:

  • Neuromodulation
  • Cochlear implants
  • Drug delivery
  • Ventricular assist devices

Li/CFs-MnO2 Chemistry

Medium energy density and high-rate discharge with excellent shelf life. Various configurations are currently in development. Used for:

  • Pacemakers
  • Implantable cardioverter-defibrillators
  • Cardiac and other monitoring devices

Li/CFx Chemistry

Highest energy density and medium to high-rate discharge with excellent shelf life. Available in multiple configurations ranging from under 200 mAh to over 9.5 Ah. Used for:

  • Pacemakers
  • Neuromodulation
  • Drug delivery
  • Cardiac and other monitoring devices
