Our History

For over 30 years, Resonetics has been a pioneer in micro medical manufacturing.

 

The same passion for innovative laser capabilities that launched Resonetics in 1987 continues to be at the forefront of its medical manufacturing technologies.

Resonetics has continued with advanced development of laser processing to solve the most complex manufacturing challenges.

Resonetics has designed, built and deployed over 500 laser workstations that cover a wide spectrum of laser types and wavelengths, including femtosecond, picosecond, excimer, diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) and CO2. Combining state-of-the-art laser systems with a progressive technical team allows Resonetics to partner with customers like you to provide winning solutions that meet advanced technical requirements and challenging economic demands.

 
 

Since 2015, Resonetics has been growing rapidly. Through the acquisition of Mound Laser (Dayton/US), Aduro Laser (Sacramento/US), Medelec Swiss Precision Tubing (Switzerland), STI Laser (Israel), Caribou Technologies (Minneapolis/US), Tru Tech Systems (Detroit/US) and The Medical Business of HTI (Minneapolis/US) – with greenfield investment in San Diego (US), Minneapolis (US) and Costa Rica, the company has 10 locations.

Through these acquisitions, Resonetics is purposefully building a micro manufacturing company to better serve the medical device industry. Each new company brings a core competency that is industry leading. To add to our laser processing expertise, we have invested in metal fabrication – specifically centerless grinding and photochemical machining, increased our nitinol processing capabilities and added thin wall stainless steel and precious metal hypotubing, which is also available in our online store. Our new breadth of technology allows you to order more complete assemblies while still gaining access to leading edge processing techniques across all capabilities — making Resonetics your partner from prototyping and development to production and market launch.
