Process Development Engineer
DESCRIPTION:
The Process Development Engineer is responsible for demonstrating process feasibility and meeting quality specifications on Lightspeed ADL projects. Assist in transitioning Lightspeed ADL projects to production through the process as part of a team and a collaborative environment.
Location: Or Akiva, Israel
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the successful transition of Lightspeed ADL projects to production.
- Generate and update setup sheets, work instructions, and CAPAs as required.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and work across several departments as required.
- Solve technical problems and improve different manufacturing processes to optimized solutions.
REQURIED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bsc. in Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to generate drawings and models (2D & 3D CAD).
- Ability to present and convey complex engineering ideas to internal and external customers.
- Ability to create job related documentation for quality purposes.
- Ability to quickly and positively adapt to changing priorities and processes.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- 3-5 years of experience in the medical devices industry.
- Knowledge and experience with mechanical design of jigs and devices.
- Knowledge of different manufacturing technologies as metalworking, engraving, laser cutting, wire cutting etc.
- Strong communicational skills – in Hebrew as well as in English (writing, reading and verbal).
