CNC Machining

Our experienced engineers and machinists leverage a comprehensive range of CNC capabilities to produce MedTech components and implants, including Electro Discharge Machining (EDM), Swiss machining, multi-axis turning, and multi-axis milling. We are experts at solving complex manufacturing problems and will use our deep process knowledge to develop the best manufacturing method for your project. This includes combining our CNC machining capabilities with other manufacturing processes to produce designs that a single manufacturing process can’t handle.

CNC Machining Processes

Resonetics has a wide range of CNC machining processes that allow us to solve complex manufacturing problems, including:

  • EDM (Drilling/conventional/sinker)
  • Wire EDM
  • Multi-axis Milling
  • Multi-axis Turning
  • Swiss Machining

Key CNC Machining Features

CNC machining offers various features that are difficult to achieve through other micromanufacturing methods, including:

  • Through holes and slots
  • Steps, shoulders, and tapers
  • Threads
  • Grooves and crescents

CNC Machining Materials

  • Stainless steel
  • Titanium
  • Nitinol
  • MP35N
  • Carbide
  • Ceramic
  • Coated materials
  • Ultem
  • PEEK
  • Cobalt chrome alloys
  • Polymers
  • Custom alloys

Prototype to Production

Our Lightspeed Lab is a dedicated group of engineers and technicians to help you during the development cycle with quick prototypes and design feedback related to manufacturability. When the design is finalized, we have a standardized system to validate the manufacturing process and the production resources to help you scale quickly to high volumes.
